With the support of the National Coordinating Center for Infocommunications, the Faculty of Information Technology organised a 24-Hour Programming competition for Bachelor's and Master's students on 27-28 April, 2015 at the University of Pannonia. The main task was to design a logistics robot with intelligent control considering signals of several sensors at the same time. 

The Faculty of Information Technology has been organising this competition for nine years that helps students todevelop some skills required on the labour market, as problem solving skills, creativity and efficient cooperation are essential factors during the competition. 

Results of the competition: 1st place: team Bits Please! (Gyuk Péter, Rátosi Márk, Szekér Szabolcs), 2nd place: team Midnight Coders (Farkas Gábor, Mokcsay Ádám, Szili László), and 3rd place for the team DivisionByZero állhatott fel (Serleg Dániel, Tóth Benjámin, Tóth Dávid Noel).

With the support of the National Coordinating Center for Infocommunciations, the Faculty of Information Technology organised a workshop titled “Continuous Improvement and Development of P-graph as a Powerful PNS tool”, on 22-25 January, 2015 at Hotel Silver Resort, Balatonfüred, Hungary.

The main objectives of this workshop were to share the development of P-graph application in different research group, to identify the limitation of P-graph tool that available at this moment, to suggest the future development of P-graph and PNS tools and to improve the teaching/training materials for P-graph. 

ASCONIKK logo felirattalIn 2014, the regularly organized international event VOCAL (Veszprém Optimization Conference: Advanced Algorithms) is associated with a new session thanks to the National Coordinatiing Center for Infocommunications.

Participants interested in these topics are welcome at presentations between 14 and 17 December in three sessions.
